ایـــران؛ اولــین تـولـیـد‌کـنـنـده انــار در جـهــان

Iran's annually pomegranate and pistachio production hits 790,000 tons which puts the country in the first rank in the world in this regard.

600,000 tons of the productions belong to pomegranate and the rest 190,000 tons to pistachio.

Iran also stands 2nd in date (fruit) production , 3rd in common fig, 3rd in cherry, 7th in grape and 7th in orange.

Italy annually produces 8.5 million tons of grapes and 500,000 tons of kiwis which led the country ranks first in the world in the production of grape and Kiwi.

Argentina exports 490,000 tons of pears which makes the country the biggest producer and exporter of the fruit.

China is known to be the first country in the world to produce cucumber, peach, watermelon and apple.

However, Fars Province, enjoying 13,000 hectares of the lands under cultivation produces about 155,000 tons of pomegranates - over 21 percent of Iran’s pomegranates produce per annum - and ranks the first and largest producer of the commodity in the country. Also, the pomegranate produced in the province is highly demanded by its foreign customers.

Recent trends in the exports of the commodity are indicative of the fact that Iran’s pomegranate export has steadily increased year by year. According to the figures, over 150,000 tons of the produce was exported to different European countries and to markets in Russia, Ukraine, Arab countries as well 

as the Central Asian countries.

سالانه یک و نیم میلیون تن انار در دنیا تولید می‌شود که ایران با تولید بیش از 600 هزار تن اولین تولیدکننده این میوه پاییزه محسوب می‌شود.

شرایط آب و هوایی استان فارس مناسب کشت و پرورش محصول انار است و این استان از نظر میزان تولید و سطح زیر کشت رتبه اول تولید را در بین استان‌های کشور دارد.

در استان تهران نیز 600 هکتار باغ انار وجود دارد که 10 هزار تن محصول برداشت می‌شود و طی برنامه پنجم توسعه باید سطح باغات انار تا 500 هکتار افزایش یابد.

استان یزد نیز 7117 هکتار باغ انار دارد که طبق پیش‌بینی سازمان جهاد کشاورزی این استان 83 هزار و 600 تن محصول امسال برداشت خواهد شد. 

شهرستان‌های میبد، یزد و تفت بیشترین سطح زیر کشت انار در استان یزد را به خود اختصاص داده‌اند.

بر اساس آمار گمرک ایران در سال گذشته بیش از 7600 تن انار به ارزش 11.3 میلیون دلار از کشور صادر شده است که عراق، هلند، ارمنستان، افغانستان، امارات، ترکمنستان و روسیه به ترتیب بزرگترین بازارهای صادراتی انار ایران در سال گذشته بودند. 

پایین بودن عملکرد، کاهش صادرات، بالا بودن قیمت تمام شده محصول، کمبود صنایع فرآوری، کمبود سالن‌های بسته بندی مناسب و سردخانه در مناطق تولید انار را از نقاط ضعف تولید انار در کشور هستند.

انار بومی مناطق شرق ایران تا کوه‌های هیمالیا در شمال هند است و پس از ایران هندوستان دومین تولیدکننده انار به شمار می‌رود.
